I do love me some Reality shows. But one of my favorites is Dancing With The Stars. I love the dancing, the glamour, the costumes and the humor it brings.... not to mention eye candy....

I mean I could watch this guy All. Day. Long. Look at him!!!!

Boogity Boogity, It's Race Season!!

Happy Birthday to me!

I celebrated my birthday last week, my turning 38 28 again!! For my birthday, all I asked for is money for the iPhone 5. I have my sister's hand me down 4 and I was due for an upgrade. I haven't had an upgrade for a new phone in like 3-4 years. It was MY turn! :)
Well yesterday I picked up my new sleek iPhone 5. I LOVE it. It more slender and I think it's faster! I am a fan of the iPhone. I've had an android smartphone and I prefer the iPhone over all!

I was really happy to get my new phone since 4 days earlier this happened.

Yep Sad I know! No it was not inside this box...it probably wouldn't of shattered like this if  I was smart and had it in the box. Oh well lesson Learned. Needless to say, I have a box on order now! 

Also for my birthday, per my request. My wonderful kiddos made me strawberry cupcakes. I didn't help at all, well except with the oven part. Oh they were soooo good!! 

They even iced them with strawberry and chocolate icing!

My Dixie even liked it. I shared! :) 

Cheeseburger in Paradise

I love Rachael Ray. I've been watching her for-eva!! I love watching her cook. I wanna be just like her. Ha Ha
Anyway, last week she made a Cheeseburger Quesadilla. I love cheese quesadilla and I love cheeseburgers! Why not put it together!! Let me tell you, Delish!!!
Here's the recipe from the show.

I made this last night and result....everyone loved it! Yay!

Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas

Ingredients

• 1/2 pound lean smoky bacon, chopped  * I used about 5-6 slices
• 1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck  * 1lb fed the four of us
• Ketchup and mustard
• 4 10-inch flour tortillas
• 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

Garnish

Diced pickles

Shredded lettuce

Diced tomatoes

Brown your beef  * I forgot to add the ketchup and mustard *oops* and I believe you add it here when your beef is browned* 

Then add bacon and mix. 

While your beef is browning, shredded your cheese and dice the pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce.  

Next you build your quesadilla. Beef with bacon, then cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles

Brown on both sides by flipping, cook until cheese is melted. 

Cut in triangles and serve! YUM-O

I can't wait to make some sugar cookies and use my new heart cutters!! And decorate them with sprinkles. I think I'll ask the kids for help, I'm sure they'd enjoy that!!

My son wanted to read aloud to me tonight. It made my heart melt. He hasn't wanted to read to me for quite some time. He just reads silently and gets it done. I cherished that moment!!! Love. 

Lions, Tigers and Clowns! OH MY!

The Greatest Show on Earth came to town this past weekend. I have always wanted to take the kids to the circus but never really had the funds to go. We were able to go this weekend and sit in the cheap seats! The kids had a blast. I even enjoyed it too!  I remember going as a kid and I wanted that for my kids, to experience it at least once. 

My favorite was the big kitties. The lion and his mane was so beautiful. They even had little kitties too, walking the tight ropes. I didn't know they could trains cats! HA Alexis said her favorite was the puppies and the horses. Nathan waited the whole time for his favorite...the cage motor cyclist! They had 8 bikes in there at one time! Nail biting but awesome! :)
